LASA Student Named Texas Youth Ambassador
Congratulations to Annika Fisher-Eddy who was chosen to be a 2023 Texan Youth Ambassador for the Tourette Association of America! She was recently in DC for a training for it, and on the Tourette Association of America National Advocacy Day, she met and talked to staff members of our Texas senators and representatives to ask them to give funding to the CDC for Tourette Syndrome and co-occurring conditions, and to help Tourette be more widely known so there are less stigma around it. The Tourette Association of America is the only non-profit organization to advocate for Tourette and other tic disorders. Way to advocate, Annika!
