LASA offers all UIL athletics.

Some sports are offered during the school day in an athletics class period, but athletic periods can only be offered if student interest is high enough. LASA offers football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball and drill team during the school day. Sports offered only before/after school are cross country, golf, tennis, wrestling, track and field, swimming, and cheer. Students that cannot fit an athletic class period in to their schedule, can still participate in that sport by attending the before or after school practices.

LASA Archery

The LASA Archery Team took 2nd place in the first tournament of the season!

Several raptors took top individual spots including Ari Durnal-Harry (1st place in her division), and Camila Bosquez (3rd), Ty Camp (4th), and Avery Luther (5th) in their division.

Coach Kat couldn’t be more proud of these hard-working archers whose manners, professionalism, and attitude stood out above all.

LASA Volleyball Bi-District Playoff Game is Monday

Raptor volleyball ended the regular season last week with a decisive win over St Andrews for all three teams. Varsity finished 2nd in the District, the strongest finish ever for our program. The Freshman Team remained UNDEFEATED, congratulations! JV ended the season 2nd place in the District, well done.

LASA Team Tennis Second in State

Congratulations to the most successful LASA Team Tennis performance EVER!  After a definitive victory over Boerne Champion in the 5A district semifinals, the Raptor Tennis team had their first loss of the season in the final match to be number one.  What a terrific season.  We are all very impressed with the dedication and hard work of this team.

LASA Varsity Tennis wins Regionals - Heading to State

After an undefeated regular season, the varsity team has made an exciting run through the post-season with Championship wins in District, Bi-District and Area.

This past week, they defeated Georgetown High School 10-5 in Regional Quarterfinals, Foster High School 10-2 in the semi-finals and College Station High School 10-4 in the finals to clinch the Region 3 Championship trophy.
