Physicals: (This is for athletes who have not participated in a sport this school year yet)
- All athletes need to have a physical submitted and approved prior to attending practice. They cannot practice, compete or obtain credit for the class without it.
- Trainers have the hard copies of the physical but parents can also go on this website to access it. Parents can then give completed forms to coaches or trainers or upload them via RankOne.
- Trainers must approve the form before it shows in RankOne. Parents also have to fill out the RankOne online forms.
- 9th graders have to fill out PAPF as well.

Practice:
- Monday - Thursday 4:15-5:30 long distance
- Monday - Thursday 4:30 -5:30 Short & Mid distance, jumps, hurdles, throwing
- Friday - Weightlifting practice on select Fridays. Check SportsYou for weekly schedule
- Thursdays will be shorter practice if there is a scheduled meet Friday or Saturday
- Thursday meets means no practice Thursdays and shorter practice Wednesdays.
Bus Information:
- Late bus: 6:30p in the front of the school
- Meet buses: Pick up in the back of the school by the large gym.
- Available depending on meet.
- ** Watch for SportsYou posts prior to meets for immediate information.
- Please note: There will be a google form posted prior to each meet to see if we need a bus. Many carpool on weekend meets or late at the end of meets. Buses are not available until 9:15am on weekdays so morning field and running events for weekday meets usually require carpool, parent drop off or self drive.
Is this a class credit?
- Yes, it can count as ½ a PE credit if you speak with your academic counselor and meet the requirements.
- Requirements:
- Attend 2 practices per week for the duration of the season and compete in 1 meet.
- Attendance will be taken daily and I will be submitting grades based on participation.
- You can also ask about pass/fail if you do not want your GPA affected by grades. Speak with your counselor about which is best for you.
Dues:
- Asking $150 recommended to cover costs of the current season that are not covered by the District. Fair share payments are collected by the Booster Club and used to support the team, including:
-
Snacks at meets
-
Drinks at meets
-
Lunches for coaches at meets
-
End of season team banquet celebration - includes athlete’s entry ticket
-
-
IMPORTANT: Financial hardship should not discourage an athlete from participating in Track & Field. Everyone is welcome, regardless of ability to pay the Fair Share contribution. There are other fundraising efforts during the season, and all athletes are asked to participate in this way.
