LASA Archery Wins!

This past Saturday, LASA's archery team hosted and competed in the 2nd annual "Battle for the Bullseye" archery tournament along with 4 other area high schools.  As a team, LASA took 1st place!  Additionally, LASA took first place in both Boy's and Girls Individual Target.

Congratulations to Raptor Wrestlers for a strong showing in the District 13 tournament! Jade Friedman took 1st place in 120 lbs, Amaya Roberts took 3rd place at 100 lbs, and Zara Lopez took 4th place in 107 lbs.

Chinese Students Success

I am thrilled to share some exciting news! LASA Chinese students participated in the highly competitive 2024 National Chinese Expo Student Work Contest, hosted by the American Academy of International Culture and Education (AAICE).

The LASA Archery Team topped their highest team score ever at the McCallum Invitational Tournament in December!

LASA SWIM AND DIVE SEASON SUCCESS

On Saturday, December 14th, the LASA Swim and Dive Team competed at the Cedar Ridge Invitational in Round Rock against 14 other teams, including many powerhouse 6A teams from AISD.  

HOSA Online Testing

Congratulations to those who placed in HOSA Online Testing this past week! Our club competed against 226 other chapters, with the following students coming out on top:

AMC Success

The following students have achieved excellent performance on the AMC Exam, the first step in a series of exams of the Math Olympiad. As a result, they have received an invitation to take the AIME exam in early February.

Science Olympiad

Our Science Olympiad teams had a great tournament last weekend at Seven Lakes High School in Katy. We placed 1st (A team) and 16th (B team) out of 52 teams!

Reflections 24-25 Accepting Imperfection

We would like to recognize and congratulate the amazing artists who participated and excelled in this year’s Reflections Art Program. The theme this year was Accepting Imperfection and we had a decent response from LASA and hope to grow this program even larger next fall!!!
