Please help me in congratulating the LASA Raptor Band on our recent performance successes!

TEMPLE JAZZ FESTIVAL
On Sat. Mar. 29, the Raptor Jazz Bands (Combo, Stage Band, and Jazz Band) all received Superior Ratings awards at the Temple Jazz Festival! We spent the day performing and checking out other groups and then caught the Temple Jazz Orchestra (professional big band) with special guest artist Sean Jones (trumpet.) It was a great day!
 
UIL CONCERT & SIGHTREADING
This past Tuesday and Wednesday, the Raptor Concert Bands (Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble) performed at the UIL Concert & Sightreading Evaluation. We had great performances and received straight division 1 ratings for all three ensembles, a "clean sweep", and are now officially a Sweepstakes Band for the 2024-25 season (Superior Ratings in Marching and Concert & Sightreading.) Not many other schools can say they received straight 1's for all their performing ensembles, so this is a great achievement!
 
UT LONGHORN JAZZ FESTIVAL
And yesterday, the Jazz Band competed in the UT Longhorn Jazz Festival and earned the 2nd place award in 5A!
