First of all, congratulations! I am so proud of all of you. I have said it before, and I will say it again: The LASA application process is not easy. But you persevered and your efforts were rewarded.
I am beyond excited to get to know you for real in the fall.
ACCEPTING OR DECLINING LASA'S OFFER
Now that LASA has made our decisions, it is your turn to decide whether you want to come here or not. To do that, parents/guardians will have to return to Enroll Austin and either ACCEPT or DECLINE the offer.
The vast majority of families have already done so. (Thank you so much!) If your family hasn’t yet, the deadline is this Friday (3/27/26) at 11:59 PM. After that, the offer expires.

Now, while the offer will automatically expire I ask you to please go in and officially decline the offer if you decide LASA isn’t for you. On our end, no response looks an awful lot like a family not realizing that there’s a next step they need to take in order to attend LASA this fall and amazing students missing out on the opportunity. It gives me SO MUCH ANXIETY.
This means that starting on Thursday, we will officially start pestering the families who haven’t responded yet. (There is no need to reach out and double-check if we received your response or not. Because if we didn’t, we will hunt you down. Promise!)
Once you have accepted LASA, the status in Enroll Austin will say “Accepted - Pending Registration”.
This status will never change. No, not even when you complete registration.
ANNUAL FORMS
Registration, in this case, means completing the Annual Forms for 2026-2027 in Enroll Austin. Some of you may already have done this as part of the application process. If you did, there is no need to do it again.
If you haven’t completed the annual forms yet, it’s important that you access them by clicking ANNUAL FORMS on the blue ribbon across the top of the Enroll Austin home page.
If you have already completed them, you will be able to see that in Enroll Austin. DO NOT complete the Annual Forms for 2025/2026.

UPDATING ADDRESS IN ENROLL AUSTIN
If your address in Enroll Austin is incorrect, please click FAMILY INFORMATION on the blue ribbon across the top of the Enroll Austin home page. You should be able to update your address there.
WELCOME PAGE
All important information for incoming families is shared at lasahighschool.org/welcome
(Psst! The only way to access this page is via the link. It is not posted anywhere on the website.)
The welcome page is updated as new information is shared. So if you find yourself with a question between now and the start of next school year, please check there before reaching out to LASA.
QUESTIONS
Finally, I know as you have questions in this limbo state that is being an incoming LASA family, you may be tempted to reach out to me.
I’ll ask Jo Koerth, many of you may think, she was so helpful during applications, surely she’ll have the answer to all my questions!
I am beyond flattered by your confidence in my knowledge. But the truth is, while I know a lot about applications, I know very, very little about things like registration and course selections. Those just aren’t my areas of expertise!
For registration, our registrar will reach out to you if she needs something from you. She is (scarily) on top of things.
Please save any questions related to course selection, that you cannot figure out from the course guide, for the upcoming choice sheet event.
(Before you ask, the link and QR code for the course guide can be found in your welcome letter, along with the dates and details of the choice sheet event. If the welcome letter hasn’t arrived by snail mail yet, don’t worry! The link will be posted on the welcome page by tomorrow morning.)
Best,
/Jo Koerth
