All new LASA students, no matter the grade they are entering, are invited to participate in the New to LASA Summer Book Club.  This is a great way to meet other new students as well as current students who act as Literary Leaders at the event.  We'll be reading Elatsoe by Darcie Little Badger and will meet on Sunday August 9th 3-4pm and at lunch on our first day of school.  We'll talk about the book and craft, then finish the time with popsicles!  It's fun and truly low-stress; we hope you read and enjoy the book, but join us no matter what!  

For our 8/9 meeting we also invite new parents to stick around and chat with current parents; we'll have some light refreshments and it's a great way to get some questions answered or to just meet new parents.  Please sign up here so we can have a head count for the Sunday event.  No need to sign up for the first day of school lunchtime event, just show up!
