Congratulations to the musical theater students who were invited to participate in the Heller Awards for Young Artists ceremony at the Long Center.  Ruby Venkatesh, Zach Ellington, Juliet Auby and John Golby. 

Rowing Raptors

Congratulations to the LASA students on the rowing team, whose varsity women’s team, with LASA Seniors Marin Maycotte and Samantha Morse, last week won the Texas State Championship in the premier event, the women’s 8, with a winning time of 6:50.9  Woo-hoo!!

FBLA Dominates at State

April 10-12, FBLA went to Galveston to compete in the FBLA State Championship (State Leadership Conference). We had a fantastic showing with an astounding 55 students who placed high enough at State to qualify for Nationals in Orlando this summer! Please congratulate the following students:

Raptor Softball Repeat as District Champs & All-District Award Recipients

LASA softball is back to back district champs for the first time in program history! After going 13-1 this season, LASA came out on top! Rose Harrelson ('26) had a dominant pitching season with 87 district strikeouts and a 1.30 ERA!

FBLA Wins Big at State!

LASA sent 89 students to state business competitions, with 55 students qualifying for nationals. Of the 55 students, 9 placed first, 23 placed second, 10 placed third, and 13 placed fourth.
