You are receiving this email because I think you are applying to LASA. If you have changed your mind and no longer want to apply to LASA, please fill out this form so I can take you off my list.
If you have missed any of the previous info emails, you can find them under Application Updates & Announcements on our website.
The deadline to apply to LASA has passed and I am hard at work reviewing submitted materials. Everyone should have received at least one email detailing the status of their application materials at this point.

I have been prioritizing going through materials that were submitted for the first time. Next up is resubmissions.
As a reminder, LASA does not accept materials submitted by email. Use the Upload Form. This makes it easier for me to add the materials to your application, and it keeps documents from getting lost in the admissions inbox. It also keeps the inbox clear for questions.
As I am beginning to verify addresses, I am noticing that not all parents/guardians have been following the instructions for Enroll Austin. In order to verify your address, I need:

Your address

Your family’s latest electricity bill
-
A second proof of residence
-
Lease
-
Latest mortgage statement (dated within 45 days)

Or most recent tax bill for families who own their home outright

Parent/Guardian drivers license to verify the name(s) on the utility bill and second proof of residence
I am finding that a lot of parents/guardians have not uploaded any documents to Enroll Austin which makes my life much harder. It will also slow down address verification if I keep having to reach out to families for these documents.
So parents/guardians, if you haven’t already, go to Enroll Austin > NEXT STEPS > Upload Documents
DO NOT click the edit button for your student. Unless you need to change the school ranking, we are done with the edit button.
Make sure you upload:

Not expired

For both parents/guardians (in one photo)

Latest Mortgage Statement

Most recent Tax Bill (if you own your home outright)

If the document is too big for Enroll Austin, upload the first page to Enroll Austin, and the entire document to the LASA Upload form

I know I haven’t asked for both parent IDs previously. I am just noticing that when families upload their parent ID, it’s not always the one that matches the name on the utility bill/second proof of residence. So to keep me from having to reach out, please submit a single photo of both parent IDs.
Enroll Austin only supports uploading one document to each slot. Please combine documents if needed. Or use the LASA Upload form.
If you no longer live at the address showing up in Enroll Austin, please update it to your current address. Again, DO NOT go to edit your student’s application. Instead, go to Enroll Austin > FAMILY INFORMATION.
If your family has a unique living situation, please use the LASA Upload form (selecting the option “Proof of Residence”) to add an explanation. Or, you can also make notes directly on the proof of residence before submitting.
If you have already submitted an explanation to the LASA Upload form, there is no need to do so again. I am still working through those submissions. If I need any further clarification or documents, I will reach out.
My goal here (as with all other application materials) is to make sure that I have everything I need, and your application has the best chance possible at getting you into LASA.
Oh, and everyone’s LASA Application status in Enroll Austin still shows as “Not Started.” Sorry, friends, I haven’t had a chance to go in and update any of them yet.
