I am going to make this as short and sweet as I can. Enroll Austin is officially open!
Parents/guardians, this is your turn to shine! (Students, feel free to close this email and focus on your homework.)
As a reminder, we can only consider students who have both:

Submitted their LASA Application
-
Ranked LASA in Enroll Austin
This, unfortunately, is where parents/guardians can mess up their student’s chance at LASA. You have to fill out Enroll Austin by the deadline. If you don’t, we can’t consider your student’s application. There’s no leeway on this one.
My suggestion is that you do it today. That way you don’t have to worry about it.
AISD released a really helpful family guide to Enroll Austin, and I stole it and made some LASA-tweaks to it.

The main difference is how to access Enroll Austin. All families should complete the 2026-2027 School Year Program Application.
Once that is completed, you will notice that Enroll Austin asks you to complete Annual Forms and Next Steps.
Annual Forms are important, but not urgent at this moment. We do not look at them for admission purposes. We’ll get back to them in March.
Next Steps is where you want to focus your attention. Specifically “Upload Documents.” As a reminder, we only need you to upload your:

Mortgage Statement (dated within 45 days) or Lease

Parent/Guardian ID (driver’s license)
Remember, Enroll Austin is designed to fit several schools/programs with different requirements. Unfortunately, it’s not quite smart enough to know what exactly is required for each program. So unless you upload something to every single upload slot, it may show next steps as Incomplete. There is no need to be concerned.
As students submit their applications and I send out the application status emails, I will keep you updated to what is still needed.
Similarly, where the programs your student is applying to are listed, there’s a status line which says “Not Started” as the default. Schools have to manually go in and adjust this status for each student. It’s pretty time consuming, so don’t be surprised if this status doesn’t change! Again, the application status emails will show what is still needed for the application to be complete.
Missing Student?
If you need to add a missing or new student to your Enroll Austin account, there are instructions for that too: https://drive.google.com/
For the purpose of Enroll Austin, the difference is:
Missing Student: Has been enrolled in AISD
New Student: Has never been enrolled in AISD
Be sure to follow the correct instructions to avoid accidentally creating duplicate accounts.
Help
If you are having trouble with Enroll Austin, there is help available. You can always submit an AISD Help ticket. But, we will also have an Enroll Austin representative available to help on the following dates:
Saturday, January 17, 2026 - Virtual Help Sessions from PFLASA
Session 1: 9-11 AM
Session 2: 1-3 PM
Students can get help with their short answers and/or creative project, and/or practice for the CogAT. Parents/guardians can get help with Enroll Austin.

Saturday, January 24, 2026 - In-Person Enroll Austin Help
Session 1: 9-11 AM
Session 2: 12:30-2:30 PM
While students are taking the CogAT at LASA. Parents can attend the “Find Your Fit” parent panel or get help with Enroll Austin from an Enroll Austin representative. There is no need to sign up for Enroll Austin help.
(Remember, Enroll Austin representatives are only able to answer questions about Enroll Austin and the items that have been submitted via Enroll Austin. If you have questions about teacher recommendations or the LASA Application, please email LASAadmissions@
Please take advantage of one of these two opportunities! The sooner you submit Enroll Austin, the sooner I can stop worrying about it!
