Please help us in congratulating the members of the 2025 LASA Symphony Orchestra for earning sweepstakes at our UIL Concert and Sight-Reading evaluation this week!

The ensemble earned straight Division 1 Superior ratings from all six judges, both on the concert and the sight-reading portions of the evaluation.

Bravo and congratulations to Mr. East and the outstanding Wind Ensemble musicians for all of their hard work over the past 2 months and for their incredibly powerful and elegant performance at UIL. It was a musically and physically demanding program featuring some of the most iconic and recognizable symphonic works, including the 4th movement of Dvorak’s New World Symphony and selections from Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition including “Old Castle”, “Baba-Yaga", and “Great Gate of Kiev”.
