Each summer, Bank of America holds its Student Leader Program where hundreds of community-minded high schoolers gain work experience with local nonprofits through a paid eight-week internship. This year the Bank selected two students from AISD and one was our very own Vedant Sangani. Selected for his leadership, community service and dedication to his studies, Vedant interned at Communities in Schools. As a part of the program, Vedant and the other students attended the Student Leader Summit in Washington, D.C. where they learned how nonprofits, governments and businesses collaborate to meet local needs. Way to represent, Vedant!
