LASA's Ultimate Frisbee team is the Vertikills!

Normally the team practices Tue/Th after school and participates in scrimmages, local high school tournaments, a TUSC sponsored high school weekend league, and the state tournament sponsored by a national organization, USA Ultimate. The team is split between an A team and either one or multiple B teams. The Vertikills are open to everyone whether they have prior experience or not. We have players of all levels of commitment from players who are in it for the casual game to players who have played pro in high school. In the past years the LASA A-team competed in many high-level events, winning state 3 times in a row, as well as placing 16th nationally at the end of a previous season. Come out and join us!

The faculty sponsor is Mr. Villanueva, who can be found at room 704 during the school day.

Players can be added to the team slack either by emailing and requesting to join, or coming out to a practice and getting it sorted there. We're excited to see you out on the field!
