PAINTED PARKING SPOTS FAQ
What is a "Lottery Painted Parking Spot"?
There will be a drawing for 23 spots in the parking lot for those that request to be part of the lottery by Thursday, May 23rd. The amount paid for this option is $50 (discounted from the flat fee of $150 for a purchased spot). The drawing will take place on Friday May 24th and you will be emailed if you have been selected. If you win a spot, you will need to submit your signed contract and design by June 10, 2024. If you miss this deadline your spot will be given to the next person in line.
If I sign up for the painted parking spot, but don't get the lottery drawing, can I still get a painted parking spot?
Spots are limited. We will base the remaining painted spots on your timely submission of your signed contract and design. These are due by June 10, 2024.
How do I pay for my spot?
We will accept cash or check when it is time to pick up your parking permit during TCBE days (August 6, 7, 13, & 14).
If I get a painted parking spot, when will I be allowed to start painting the spot?
Once your design has been approved - students, parents, friends - can come August 5-8 from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm for painting (see contract for details about types of paint and things to consider before painting).
Will I be assigned a spot to paint?
You will be given specific spots to pick from and you will need to mark the spot with your name so other seniors know not to pick your spot.
I won't be in town the month of August, when can I paint my spot?
If you cannot make the dates of August 5-8 work with your schedule, you will need to purchase a regular parking permit ($10) for the school year.
I changed my mind about my painted parking spot, can I give it to someone else since I paid for it?
No, painted parking spots are non-transferable. If you change your mind, you must inform the main office.
Where do I find the parking permit form for next school year?
It will be on the parking permit page on the LASA Website after July 24th, 2024.
