Applications for 2024-2025 School Year are now closed.

Deadline: February 6, 2024

You must reside within the Austin ISD boundaries in order to apply to LASA High School for the 2024-25 school year.

General Admissions Updates

If you have started your AISD common application, your email has been added to our admission update status so that you can receive generic (not student specific) updates when we post something to our website directly to your email. These updates are exactly what is posted here. You may unsubscribe (bottom of the email you receive from blog@lasahighschoool.org or subscribe on the webpage at anytime. These are different than the student specific status application emails you will receive starting in December.

Please add @lasahighschool.org to your safe sender list (google how to whitelist a domain for your email provider).

Parent-to-Parent Find Your Fit Discussions

PFLASA, the Parents and Friends of LASA, is our parent group for LASA. They will host Find Your Fit parent-to-parent discussions on Saturday, January 20 and 27 during the Admission Testing (CogAT) sessions that prospective students will be attending.

Application Support Virtual Meetings This Saturday 1/6 and next Saturday 1/13

We will have 4 virtual Saturday sessions where students and parents can attend to get any help with the application from the LASA Mentoring Committee. These sessions are completely optional and run by parent volunteers. No LASA staff will be present and attending has no bearing on LASA acceptances. We are here to help!

The first two sessions are this Saturday.

Want to Shadow at LASA?

January 4, 2024

Students, are you interested in coming to LASA for an entire school day (excused absence for your current school) and following a current student around to see what a day-in-the-life of a LASA student is like? Then sign up to be shadow!

The student must submit their final version of the LASA Supplemental Materials form to receive an email with information and the registration link to shadow at LASA.

Shadowing at LASA starts January 16th and ends February 6th. Shadowing is optional and has no bearing on admissions.
